Should I buy a Blackberry Curve 8310?

Question

I am a first time Blackberry user and like the look of the 8310.

I normally receive quite a lot of emails to my laptop, and would also use the calendar and gps facilities. I currently just use a nokia phone and would prefer an 'all in one' device like a B.Berry.

Is it a good piece of kit?

i have the same phone and it is the best phone you can get right now, if you do alot of emailing this phone is for you because it has the full qwerty keypad and you can type great on it,the camera is awesome and it looks and feels great,and the trackball feature is so cool and makes the phone so much easier to use,you can also set up all your email accounts and get a link to all of them right on your homepage ,overall its one of the best phones you can buy.highly reccomend it!!!

No, don't get the blackberry, I bought one before, and they lied about it, it does not even work as an alternate modem, it sucked, I took it back and got a sprint pcs 6700, which has windows mobile and works as a modem if my cable modem goes down for some reason, so I can still connect, through the phone hand held pc, my lap top, or my desktop. I'm not saying buy the same phone as I did, but the one you are suggesting sucks, find one that is better, shop around.
