I'm very close to buying a Fujitsu LifeBook N3410,LifeBook N3430 battery for my laptop? How long does the 9-cell battery last? Should I buy a second one? Can people recommend this for me? Thanks!

  1. modern batteries should last 2 - 10 hours pending on power settings and if they are properly maintained only charged when flat or close too, no short term quick charges, should last a few years. I would recommend the heavier duty of the two. If you plan to spend along time away from an AC power outlet it may pay to have a second fully charged battery just in case, ( also consider extra weight) then you can alternate their usage, but if not may a waste of money.
