Im interested in buying a JVC KD-DB101 digital DAB head unit with a external aerial; fitted from Halfords. Firstly should I buy a DAB head unit, is there a good signal in the UK for this to work. Also If anyone has one fitted, please could you let me know how well/rubbish it is working. Also what model should I buy?

  1. signal is fine in the uk aslong as the aerial is able to pick up digital signals. but what ever you do dont let halfrauds fit it, they haven got a clue what there doing and generally they wont do it unless you buy all the connectors for you car so all they do is plug them in which you could train a chimp to do in less than 5 mins {saying that most chimps could probably work it out and dont need training} buy what you want online it is cheaper you already have the model number so it wont be hard to find online. then take it to a reputable in car entertainment fitter or vehicle electrician if you dont fancy giving it a go yourself
