Should I buy a .Mac / MobileMe account to publish my web site on?

I've been writing a blog and publishing it on a trial account for .Mac. I'm very happy with the service, but I think it is also overpriced at $100 a year for 20 gigs of space.

I am considering getting it because I make my blog on iWeb and there is a publish button that makes it so easy to put it online.

Has anyone pubished a iWeb page on a separate web hosting service... is it difficult... should I use .Mac?

Using iWeb with a different service is inconvenient, because you need to export the entire site each time you want to make changes to any pages. This can be slightly time consuming, and any changes to the navigation structure will require that you manually upload all of the changed pages. Depending on your technical ability, this could be difficult or fairly simple.
