  1. yes

  2. i have a MBA... i have 0 regrets.... well maybe that i didn't wait to buy it where i can get 0 sales tax since i got the SSD version when it first came out and now the price went down a little more :(

i've traveled with it and now never need CD/DVD drives and never need cat5 which surprised me since i was so reliant on it before my upgrade

it also surprises me how fast everything is, compared to my powerbook and dad MBP- it keeps up with his pro

my only qualm is when i use it in be, it feels like a razer slicing into me if i leave it resting on my chest for an extended amount of time

oh, and battery life sucks since it takes like 20 gazillion hours to get to 100%

the mono speakers aren't that difficult to get used to- or just get headphones

  3. NOOOOOOOOOOO!

the air is all about the pose value, it is basically a down spec'ed macbook!

You get no optical drive, only one usb port, you cant buy a second battery as the air's one is built in and cant be removed.

You would be paying a lot more for a thin lappy that dose less that your old macbook!

  4. its VERY expensive for a small cut down MacBook.  Get the MacBook Pro and get more for less money.

unless you have lots of spare cash and don't mind spending a further £800 to look cool (until the new improved one comes out)

  5. watch the gadget show episode from today (UK) they were comparing it with 2 others. channel 5
