I currently own a 2001 Toyota Corolla which needs an engine. The car currently has 150,000 miles on it. Work that I have gotten on the car includes new tires, brakes and battery. Any suggestions on weather I should buy a new car or just get this one fixed?

  1. Throw that 2001 Corolla away and get a hybrid car, Toyota Prius for $22,000 USD.  Get a 21st Centruy car, I am not intrested in ay Gasoline cars anymore. The gas cars are all Old techology now. Dont waste your money!

  2. u can search and find out the price of car from the google website, below i have wrote a link of google website search that will help u.

  3. I say dropping an engine in a 7 year old car with 150,000 mile is a waste on time and money, even if it is a Toyota. Think about it, a new engine plus the labor is going to run you at least $4000. Why not take that money and get another GOOD Corolla with under 100,000 miles for about that same price of the engine (which is very possible), and drive it until you get another 150,000 miles. And if by the time you reach 150,000 the wheels don't fall off or the engine doesn't need replacing...Then keep on Rollin'. LOL

  4. Sell the old car and get a new one.
