Question:

Should I buy a Nintendo DS to replace the one stolen in a burglary?

My brother got a Nintendo DS console for his birthday, hardly used it, so gave it to me. It got stolen earlier this year in a burglary, and as we didn't have home insurance (my parents can't afford it) it wasn't replaced. I asked my brother whether he'd ask our parents to get "him" a new one and he said he wasn't bothered about it anyway. Should I buy a new one to replace it or not? I don't have a lot of money

  1. I am sorry your house got robbed =(.

It depends on how much you life the nintendo ds, if its a device that you enjoy playing on a daily bases, than i think you should go for it and buy one, if you can do other things toentertain you self, than im sure you can live without it for a while.

The other option would be to keep saving your money and maybe buy something else like a ps3 or wii.

Its going to be a while before another handheld system is realesed by sony or nintendo so getting a ds or saving for a psp would be worth it.

    Hope this helps =).

  2. This all depends on how much you want it.

The DS is a great handheld and there are a lot of great games coming out for it, but if you think you'd get more use out of something else, or maybe just saving the money, then you should probably do that.

  3. umm yeah spend the money you dont have on something he dosant want. Or even better spend the money you dont have on home insurance

  4. If he is not bothered, no.

    Or communicate - ask him.

  5. I say save up to about $225 and go to best buy and buy yourself a psp. They are way better than a nintendo ds.You can put photos, videos, and music on it. you can get some good games on it to.
