Should I buy a Rolex Submariner or an Omega seamaster?

The Seamaster is about half the price of the Rolex and easier to get ahold of. I did notice that the hands and markers on the Omega were very large and easy to read. Has anyone compared both side to side? I would be wearing it for swimming and as an everyday watch.

Neither will appreciate, so ignore that comment above. Only the rare rolexs will appreciate. Buy which one will make YOU happiest. Remember though that the rolex brand will get you both good and bad reactions, so Id think about that, and decide which feels right.
