I am considering asking for a satellite radio for christmas, but i was wondering if it is worth buying the radio and all the other accessories on top of paying the monthly subscription. Also, is XM or Sirius better? Do you think I should buy satellite radio?

  2. I have Sirius and let me tell you i will never go back to regular radio. I love it. It is worth every penny.

  3. Get Sirius.

  4. Its worth it. I have Sirus for Howard of course but the music stations are great.

Commercial free is a life saver. Like the guy said before me it is worth every penny and once you have it installed you will not have a reason to go back to FM radio.

Cloudy days and rain have never effected my reception.

  5. no its probably not worth buying

i work at a chevy dealership and all new vehicles have xm satilite radio but on cloudy, rainy, muggy, days, the stations dont come in clearly if at all and if u go under a bridge, tunnel, or garage they wont work

  6. I used to own a Xm because my dad was a huge baseball fan and Sirius did not have MLB, however I think Sirius is better overall.  It has more music channels and the radios are not as expensive.  Overall, we were not too satisfied with the radio because it stopped working after a while, and we ended up not really using it as much. If you are going to be traveling in the car long distances, a satelite radio is a good idea because it wont loose reception.
