Should I buy a a new infant car seat?

okay I'm pretty sure i want to buy a double stroller because when i have my second baby in feb. my first born will only be 21 months. I have been looking at them and a lot don't come with car seats and that's fine because i still have my sons and its not that old. the problem is its an evenflo and i haven't seen any evenflo double car seats. And the ones i have looked up on the computer say they fit the brand of stroller it is. for example i like this graco one but it says it fits most graco safety first infant car seats. are they really that different? should i buy another infant car seat anyway because I'm not going to get the same print as the stroller, but that's not really important. anyway thanks for every ones opinions!

I got a double stroller thinking I would use it all the time I have a Graco Quattro Tour Duo Double Stroller and I have honestly used it about 4 times in the almost 7 months. I have the car seat that fits into this one.

You should always buy a new seat due to new improvements on them.

I have 3 kids..ages 4, 3, and 1.  I have a graco double stroller, and although I had a snug ride infant car seat, I'm pretty sure that the double strollers are compatible with many different brands.  I would suggest taking your evenflo seat to a babies r us, or store that sells the doubles and have them on display, and see if it will work.  Employees are great at helping you.  I bought the Graco Duo Quattro stroller at Amazon.com for a little over $200.  It is a great stroller, but it is BIG and HEAVY!  You need to have an SUV or minivan for it.  Just for your info:  A infant seat has a shelf life of around 5-6 years (depending on manufacturer).  I used the same infant seat for all of my kids.  I did purchase a new cover and canopy for the 3rd baby because the original got really yucky.  I hope this helps you.  One more thing...Graco customer service is fantastic.  I bet if you call them, they can tell you what is compatible and what isn't.

I like to have a new car seat for each baby just because i feel safer i know sounds weird lol but i do recommend the double stroller i didnt get one because my oldest is almost 4 even though she can still fit in one and now when we go somewhere that i need to use the stroller we have problems cause she wants to ride too.
