I just started working a 2nd job... i work full time Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:30, and now am waitressing nights and weekends... i took out a loan for 1500 dollars a while back.. and i am paying 73 bucks a month to the bank... i just needed it to get back on my feet.. well im moving on the first and i have quite a bit of extra money.. by no means do i want to go splurge or buy a ton of new stuff.. but i now live in a townhouse and have a patio with a little yard thats fenced it.. i would really like to have some new chairs for outside.. and a little plastic table.. i would also like to have a grill.. not an expensive one i mean one from like the dollar store thats little.. and i wouldnt mind a blow up pool so my little cousins can come over and play...i dont want anything to expensive... but i've been in the situation before where ive been sooo broke that I can't afford anything, so i think this has made me very frugile with things.. should I buy a few new things for the place?

  1. The rational part of me would say to take the money and put it towards paying off that loan. The irrational part of me says eh, get some cheap lawn chairs and a cheap grill for now.

Now, lets combine the two. If your working hard and just got into that new apartment... reward yourself with something small. Don't forget you still have that loan.

  2. Go for it! It sounds like u deserve it.  As long as u're not behind in bills, sure, your working two jobs now.  Give yourself a pat on the back and set a spending limit.....ENJOY!
