I am looking to avoid buying so many plastic bottles for water. i used to have one of those impossible to break plastic bottles, but i heard those leach cancer chemicals. So I am looking to buy either a steel or aluminum bottle. I found steel for $11 for I like the Siggs too. But they are about $19. Is there a big enough difference? What do you recommend?

  1. Plastic works for me.  Both steel and aluminum corrode over time.

  2. hmmm.. steel or aluminum? Go with Steel. research use to say that aluminum can cause Alzheimer's disease yet not proven but why take a risk right? at least with steel, your body needs iron anyway...

  3. I would go for a stainless steel one. I think they last longer.

  4. Your choice.  The aluminum is lighter but will get scratched up easyer.  Having it react with something is not likley unless you cary orange juice or something acidic in it.  And you get more aluminum from your deoderant than from eating or drinking anything cooked in foil or a aluminum pot.

  5. use stainless steel or a pan with copper bottom it makes more durable

  6. You should go with steel. That way when you're really bored, you can put a bunch of magnets on it and make cool designs & stuff.
