Question:

Should I buy an iPod shuffle?

So along time ago I purchased an iPod mini. It worked well for a while but now it's completely died.

I was wondering weather or not to purchase an iPod shuffle 1gb (£32)

Is the battery life good? Would I be better off just buying a standard mp3 player from argos?

  1. buy ipod shuffle 2gb, the battery is pretty good and it's fashionable.  However, i would very much recommend buying the nano or classic, itouch is awesomely great, however i personally think it is still overrated and over priced.  Maybe you can sit tight for a while and wait for price to go down, it will happen soon as most people own one themselves.

But as for your question, go for the shuffle, it's known for best sound quality, ironically better than the other ipods.

  2. I have some friends who have the shuffle, they say it's pretty good. They said that the battery life usually goes for a while (they're not quite geeky enough to time it, but they don't have to recharge too often (though it's supposed to get appx. 12 hours)). I got to play around with it and it's pretty straightforward, very compact, and has excellent sound quality. If you can live without a screen, and don't need too much space, I recommend it.
