  1. well first ofF for an 8 year old car I dont believe the mileage is bad at all.

many people drive 20,000+ a year nowadays! this car averaged about 16,000 a year. plus these are virgin miles to a honda, they are well known to hit the 300,000 mile mark, just keep up to date on maintance and never neglect!

Make sure its not a "salvage tittle", look for recent "paint work", check the body once or twice just to be sure, carfax, check underneath the motor for leaks. ask for receipts if any, for maintance work, major repairs done.

The lawn mower noise is normal Hondas do have lawnmower engines in them! lol...  j/k!

well that noise can be many different things. It can even be an aftermarket Intake they installed making this noise, but im guessing  a "leak" in the exhaust system, exhaust manifold gasket perhaps.

But b4 anything if your serious about this car, u should take it to a shop so they can inspect it for u. they will tell u exactly what they see wrong with it.

6g's aint bad for this year civic and the miles it has. also 2000 is the last year the "EK" chassis was produce and 96-00 civics have a lot of popularity and never loose their value.

BUY IT B4 I BUY IT!!!!!!!

    LOL

  2. I THINK ITS TOO MUCH FOR HOW MANY MILES IT HAS .TRY LOOKING FOR A BETTER CAR FOR THAT MUCH BUT WITH LESS MILES
