I found a refurbished 60gb PS3 at Gamestop for $449. After I trade in my PS2, the price will be about $390. I know they quit making the 60's, but my question is can I still get the updates from Sony on a 60gb?

  1. you could just wait till september

when they come out with the ps3 80gb core

its 20gb more then the 60gb

    plus itll be 399.99

    just like 9 bucks more

honestly i dont see why people

act like the 60gb is the best

just cuz they dont make em anymore

    i rather have more gigs

so get the 80gb in september

  2. Yea you will still be able to get your upgrades. Think about it......there people like myself who owns a 60GB ps3. Why would sony quit offering upgrades to the consumer who bought the 60GB when it launch. The 60GB is the best version it play your old ps1 and 2 games and of course it has everything from the 4 slot usb and the memory card slot reader....You have nothing to worry about and you still get the 1 year warranty from sony even though it refurbished.

  3. yes you can still get all the updates from sony lol gosh thats a funny question you asked lol but yeah you sure can and that other dude is stupid the 20 60 80gig PS3s can play ps1 and ps2 games the ONLY PS3 THAT CANT PLAY PS2 games is the 40gig and the new 80gig witch is the very same as the 40gig just with a biger hard drive

  4. no u shouldn't get 60- or 60+ more gbs because if u get 60 because you cant play ps1 or ps2 games on but theres not much selling in America

  5. h**l no! Think of all the weed you can buy with that money!

  6. Yes. The 60GB has the identical system software. You can stay updated with updates they release.
