Should I buy this higher end laptop without it being on sale?

I'm looking to purchase a higher end laptop from Best Buy. It's price is $999.99. My dilemma is whether or not to buy it without it being on sale. Best buy has new sales every week, and if I buy it now without it being on sale, they will give me the discount at a later time if it does go on sale within 2 weeks of my purchase. However it may not go on sale within that time period. I am also wondering if $999.99 for this laptop is already a deal.

no to be honest mate i think that, that is a rubbish deal the graphics card is yerrible plus the core 2 duo is a low one you should be getting at least 2.3ghz with 4mb cache at least for that price ram is good but thats all its got and good hard drive for a laptop

No way ! Low to medium processor, small screen with low contrast, weak video chip.

For the same price get this one http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail... totally superior, excellent quality screen, very good video chip. Only downside - the weight.
