Hey all, I have found a Buell 2003 bike for $3,000 and when I emailed the person seeing if the bike is still for sale, this is what I got back:

Email From me:

Hello, I saw that you had a Buell XB9R for sale. I am totally down for your offer. I have the money available and I was wondering if I could get your cell number or phone number by any chance? Thank you so much, I am really looking forward to dealing with you.

Sincerely,

Rob

  1. it is a scam

  2. Yea dude that is a scam. i just saw a bike on craigslist.

    Hi,

the bike is in great condition, has been properly maintained, has never been dropped or abused in any way. It has a clear title and the price I`m selling it for is $2950, which is including all shippings charges.

I live in Gainesville I`m currently working in the UK (London) and I`ll be staying here for the next approximately 7 months, anyway I`m using MoneyBookers services so I can sell this bike without difficulty. I left it at their warehouse before leaving to the UK. They are supervising the entire process from payment, shipping with a 14-day inspection period included, returns (if needed) and refunding.

If you want to purchase it, let me know and I will explain you how MoneyBookers works and how we can move forward.

    I am waiting your email.

    Thanks

  3. its a scam i get thos allllll the time

  4. Call MoneyBookers.

  5. run,as fast as you can,AWAY from this "deal"

  6. It is definitely a scam.

  7. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM....

This is a classic scam. They are all over the internet, and it's pretty much the same scenario every time. Please understand, EVERY SINGLE offer that looks like this is a scam.

  8. Sounds like bull@#$!.

  9. Its a scam!!

  10. scam, and a buell xb9 is worth more than 3K... whenever it's too good to be true.... it aint true

that's a common cut and paste, they're too lazy to write new stuff

  11. Definate scam. You'll never get a phone number to speak to the person. You'll never be able to deal in person or get any personal email. Ask a specific question and I bet it won't get answered. The email responses are all programmed. Ask what name brand brakes are on it and I bet you get info about shipping charges or directed to a website for some c**p.

  12. SCAM!   The price on all that stuff is always $2990. Something to do with being a lesser crime or something like that.  Insist that he take $3500 and check his reponse.
