  1. Honestly i wouldn't get either cos their old and they don't have many spare parts left cos all the measurements have changed already

But if you want a quick fling i suggest going to test it put to try the fit cos components wise their pretty level

  2. Absolutely not.

Both of those bikes sold NEW for about $69. In addition, despite claims to the contrary it seems both of them require some work... yes, if you know where to look you can see it in pictures.

Regarding performance, neither of them will do a good job with speed or durability.

  3. contact the sellers and offer $20. neither is worth that even..

  4. Both these bikes are department store bikes; aka poor quality. Free Spirit is Sears' brand, Roadmaster is K-Mart/Wal-Mart/Target. All components are low quality, meaning it will never roll real smooth. These steel wheels will all too easily go out of alignment needing "truing". Their original new in-store prices were $70-$90 or so. Look for a gently used bike shop quality bike when buying used (Trek, Giant, Specialized, and others), give it the once over looking for any wear, rust and cracking in the paint and frame, especially where the tubing meets. This could mean frame damage and an unsafe bike. Separately hold each end of the bike off the ground giving it a gentle spin to make sure the wheels run true (don't touch the wheels/rims). Look for any sidewall cracking or tread worn off the tires. And take it for a test ride, making sure it shifts through all the gears and that the brakes grip and release properly, with no squeal.
