  1. If she asked you to call back, then you should definitely call back.  If you don't, it will make you look unprofessional.

  2. Go ahead and call back and check up on the status of this job opening you interview for. It doesnt hurt to call and ask. What is the worse they can do? Say no?  It give you clean mind knowing you contacted them and know the outcome then sitting and worrying if you should.  :D Good luck.

  3. You should call her back at 11AM - you don't want to keep her waiting...

  4. NO!!!!! Jobs are over-rated

  5. Yes call back for sure. Especially if she told you to call back. Good luck with it :-)

  6. Just ask your-self.. what would Jesus do?

  7. Yes, yes, yes

  8. Yes you should, then she knows that you're keen for the job.

  9. Yes! Call Back! ...or else it is going to be the mystery of the unknown.

  10. Yes definately! She'd have said she'll call you if she wanted to ignore you!

  11. Yes, call her back.  I don't know if I'd wait until 2...also not sure what time zone you're in.  I'd call her within an hour, hour and a half of her getting to work...you don't want to bombard her as she walks in the door, but you want to make sure you catch her...it IS Friday, after all...she may not be working a full day.

  12. Just give them a call to see whats up, if anything you will look extra keen as well obtaining some extra info.

You could ask a bright spark question about the position which could earn brownie points.

  13. Usually an employer calls you if they think your a likely candidate for the job so they shouldn't ask you to call them. But call them anyway and check if you got the job, chances are you didn't or she would've contacted you to let you know. Most employers don't write or phone to tell you, you havent got the job its usually just to tell you have.

  14. yes, call her back as instructed.

  15. i would call her first thing

and leave a message if she doesnt pick up

by hearing your message, she will know that you were the first one to call - hence the most interested!

  16. If she specifically told you to call back, then you probably should.

  17. if she tells you to call her back, then call her back! and 2 sounds about right, you dont want to call right away...give her/him some time to get settled into the day then call...best of luck :)

  18. yeah thats fine, as long as she didn't give you a specific time to call, 2 is a good time to call. its not that big of a deal if you call, and shes not able to answer. you at least called, showing that you remembered and that you really want this job.

  19. She'll probably be out to lunch at 2:00 since that is four hours into her day. I'd call around 11:00. That way she'll have had time to get settled but not to involved with her day.

  20. If she told you to call back, of course you should, unless you don't want the job.

  21. Call back! You should always send a thank you note after an interview too. It's old-fashioned etiquette but it's always a good idea. Good luck!

  22. Yes call her back! It shows that you want the job. Tell her you really want the job and ask her if she needs any more information from you to make a decision. I would call her by 11 AM. It shows that your are interested.

    Hope you get the job!

  23. Absolutely call back!

You are doing as the interviewer asked. And leave a message just with your name and number if you can't get her.

Also, if you haven't already followed up with a thank you letter for the interview you should go ahead and do that - even if you find out today someone else got the job. They might not work out - and thanking this interviewer for her time and trouble, and asking her to please keep you in mind should another opportunity come available will set you apart from other contenders.

You can find a link on "thanks for the interview" notes below.

Good luck. Its tough out there right now. (I can't even get an interview)

  24. 10:15. give her time to get coffee or get settled dont give the other person a chance to call first.

  25. yes you should

  26. Yes, that sounds good.

One thing I hear constantly about phone interviews is to dress up as if it were in person anyway because that will you give you the mental preparation you need to exude confidence and professionalism in your responses that you may lose if you're wearing sweats and slippers.

It couldn't hurt to do that in this situation. Dress nicely, take a few deep breaths before you call, anticipate what the interviewer will say, be prepared to accept anything she says graciously (if they say no now, they may say yes later!), and good luck! :)

  27. Call her at two! Good luck i hope you get the job!!
