Question:

Should I call the doctor?

When my 10.5 month old woke up this morning, I noticed the inside corner of his eye was really red. After his nap I was able to get a closer look at it and it looks like there is a swollen spot on the white of his eye in the middle of the redness. He isn't rubbing it, no discharge, I don't see anything in it (though it is hard to get a good look...he's a squirmer), and it doesn't seem to be bothering him. Should I see if we can get into the dr.? Wait and see how it looks tomorrow?

  1. Doctor ASAP!!!

  2. If it is really bothering him, I would try to get into the doctor.  If he is fine with it, maybe you can see how it looks in the morning.

  3. Call the doc and see what he/she says.  They will tell you if you need to come in, ignore it, or how to take care of it.

  4. I would go to your local doctor or hospital immediately just to be sure, it's better to be safe than sorry :)

  5. If I was you, I'd take him to the doctor. Not saying that it's serious (because you never know) I'm just saying, just incase.

  6. Because it's his eye and you don't want to harm it I would go in just in case. Better to be safe than sorry

  7. I would have his eyes examined asap.

  8. SEE A DOCTER

  9. take  him in and have it checked it could be just allergies

  10. I'd call the doctor but as long as it doesn't seem to be bothering him then I would stress out about it. Just give the doctor a call and see what he/she has to say and go from there.

  11. I find it's better to be safe than sorry.  I would rather call the doctor and have it checked out than to wait a day and it turn into something worse.

My daughter had bug bites on her and they turned very large and purplish colored.  I had a feeling it was just a bad reaction to the bites, but went to the doctor to make sure.  I felt much better after that.

  12. I wouldnt do the whole wait and see. i would call the doctor today and def. tell them what is going on with your baby. he might need to be seen today (more than likely). whenever you notice something abnormal, dont hesitate to call the doctor
