Should I cancel my AP score?

Can you please tell me how?

Also.. this is an Ap Human Geography exam.. i was really scared when i took it, i took it Freshman year. I prepared for it and it was hard, and i was really nervous when i took it.

I got the score today and I got a 1..

Please, should i cancel it or not?

Please help me, if i should, how do i cancel it because I am ashamed and I really want to go to a good college but with this, I don't think i can

  1. I don't think there's anything you can do, Jeff. Since you decided to take the exam, the score stays on your transcript. Since you didn't pass it, it really doesn't matter because you don't get the credits in college. But trust me it doesn't really matter, I got a 2 on my AP European History exam and it didn't affect me at all.


  2. I think it would look better if you got a 1 and then got really good scores the following years.  It was freshman year!

  4. You cant cancel your score and you colleges dont count AP test against your admission anyways

  5. I don't think you can cancel it if you already got your score, but I'm not too sure. Call collegeboard and ask them. Don't worry too much about it. Colleges understand that AP exams are college level tests and even if you do bad, I think colleges appreciate that you took a rigorous course. I don't think it will affect you too badly. Also, since you took it freshman year, the colleges that see the score may be a bit more considerate because most schools don't give AP classes in freshman year. Good luck.
