  1. Don't cancel it. Delay it if needed. It depends on what he is ill with and how bad it is. If he is badly sick and still wants to be there, go ahead with it. If he will get better but isn't up to it now, then wait if it will make you happier if he is attending. It's your special day, and probably a day he himself has dreamed of. You might not want to regret it if he isn't there, but could have been. If he isn't well enough to ever go, then go through with it anyway and record it for him.

Good luck with the wedding! I hope your father's health improves!

  2. Since I don't know how sick he is, I can't really say. However, if it was me and my father was really sick, I would probably delay my wedding to be with him. However, if he's a bit sick and isn't in the hospital, I think my dad would want me to continue with the wedding so he may see me happy. I think that's what parents love to see for their children.

I don't think you should ask strangers but instead ask your dad, fiance, and family. These are the people who you love and know you much more than we do.

I hope all is the best. Congrats on your coming wedding and I hope your father gets well soon.

  3. You didn't give a lot of information here so I am going to ASSUME this is very serious and everyone is unclear on when he will be getting better.

Yes postpone the wedding. If needed (for legal reasons ect) get legally married (ie go to the courthouse and fill out the paperwork) but have the WEDDING at a later date.
