Question:

Should I care about money?

My my major is Electrical Engineering and I basically have a year left of it, but I'm studying mathematics on my spare time, often more than I study my digital design classes. I want to major in Mathematics but there isn't jobs out there that pay well unless I become a teacher, which I don't. Should I be concerned about making a decent living? or be a beach bum with a Mathematics degree?

  1. If you can live happy as a beach bum, go for it.  Whatever you choose to do, make sure you love it.  You're stuck with it until death.

  2. I am co-oping as a EE now, and I love it! Like you, I also have about a year left, and I can understand your frustration. However, what you do in school is vastly different from what you do at a job. That goes for anything, not just engineering. Stay in school, and get your EE degree. You can do anything you want as an engineer, and you can make great money doing whatever that is! And btw,  mathematics is the language of our profession...

  3. You should care about the way you spend it.

  4. LIFE IS WHAT WE MAKE IT!!!!
