Question:

Should I change the prescription when ordering my glasses online?

Hi all,

I just went and got an eye exam. I am going to order some glasses online. The doctor said i was just a little nearsighted. My prescription is -.75 in right eye, and -.50 in the left eye. After the test, I got to thinking it was not as crisp as it could have been in the left eye, and maybe I should have had him go up one more lens during the test...

Should I just change the left eye prescription when ordering them?

If I should, should I change it to -.75 or -.25?

thanks

  1. Don't change it. That is foolish, as you really would have no idea what to change it to anyways. Plus, you need the prescription given by the doctor to order online, so it is actually impossible. Trust me, just leave it.

And, if you are really concerned about having the wrong prescription (you really shouldn't be, but maybe there is something I don't know about), then just swallow you pride and go back, or visit another eye doctor.

But, I really recommend getting your glasses from the eye doctor. If something isn't right, it can be dealt with properly!
