  1. Always.This will spur new blooms just below the cut off bloom.They will be a little smaller,but blooms are blooms.


  2. Yes!  Even though they are dead, the nutrients and water from your bush will still try to replenish the dry, dead flowers...Basically taking away all that stuff from the flourishing flowers.  

    You can do this with any plant that has dead flowers on them so that way the living flowers can thrive!
