I tried golf this summer in a camp, because I like to try new things, and I had a great time.... I want to continue, but my friends are not the golf type and people might judge me as a boring person, because I play golf.... I also want to plaay tennis at the same time, I don't have a problem with that...

If I decide not to continue golf, I am just going to do tennis....

  1. nah who cares what ur friends think... mine dont like fighting shows but i still watch em

  2. Dump your friends.  Anyone who doesn't enjoy golf is not worth hanging with.

  3. What difference does it make what friends think? If you enjoy golf or tennis, pursue the sport.  Your friends will eventually change and if they are that narrow minded who needs them as friends.

  4. Golf is a great sport that can be played in solitary.  You don't need a partner.  Just you and the elements.

And you may make new friends at the golf course.  You're still young, you will meet plenty of people who will share the same interests as you.

  5. If you enjoy golf and want to play, real friends would respect that.

  6. Absolutely.  It may take some time, but you might get one of them to give it a try as well.  Why stop doing something you like to do because your friends don't like it?  I've never been bored when I've played golf.  Keep on keeping on, I say!

  7. if thats what you want to do than do it

if your friends dont exept you for it then you got the WRONG FRIENDS

  8. If all of your friends smoke crack and you don't,are you going to start? Don't worry about what they think. It's your life, not theirs.

  9. Hey this a good question because I had the same problem. Me and all my friends played every other sport except Golf. It took up all our time but no one said anything when one by one each of us got jobs or just did not come around anymore.

I began to play Golf on Sat. or Sunday mornings by going myself at around 5:30-6:30am and walking on. By the time I was done around 10:30-12:30(depending on when there was a spot available) the day was still young enough to do anything I wanted. My friends did not get out of bed until after 2:00 any way.

All my friends now wish they did what I do because they would have gotten better over time and not have missed out on other things. Morning Golf is the greatest.

  10. I think you should not care what your friends think and keep on doing what you love to do. But if you really care what they think then find a sport that you can all enjoy. Try lacrosse or something else fun and up-beat. Or you can try out tennis and encourage them to try it out too.
