I don't know, guys. I make lots of money, but it seems like working in the tangible world for a change, working with real material, would be more gratifying than the virtual world...

  1. I did welding for an entire summer last year and believe me its hard work. You dont just weld all day, you carry heavy material, work in dangerous environments, etc. Quite frankly I would say the day you leave your computer job you will regret you ever did. Though on the same hand if you want to know what hard work really is go for it.

  2. If what you really want to do is be a welder; go for it!!

Life is much to short to not follow your passion. I've been taught that you're supposed to wake up in the morning and say, "I GET to go to work today" instead of "I HAVE to go to work today."

If welding would cause you to wake up in the morning and say the first sentance, you jump right in to welding school & follow that!!

If welding is something that you are considering because of more money and it's not a passion, you might want to reconsider before you ARE a welder and wake up in the morning and say the latter.

That being said, if working with computers gives you motivation to wake up in the morning - you MAY want to stick with that.

It's all about your passion and what you want to see happen with your life.

It's too short not to go for exactly what you want.

  3. yeah

  4. If you really want to, go for it. No one can hold you back. Do what you like that's what life is about. And if you decide you don't like it you at least have something to go back on if you felt like it.

    Good luck! ^_^
