Question:

Should I continue to take my normal acne medicine alongside herbal supplements?

I have been taking "Solodyne" pills to help my acne for a while now, and they haven't really made a big impact on my acne so my mom decided to get me to try this combination of herbal supplements that she heard about that's supposed to help acne. I was just wondering if I should still take my regular acne pills with these other pills that I now take daily. I was just wondering if there would be any possible bad reactions if I took these together.

The herbal supplements are:

-Saw Palmetto

-Zinc

-Pantothenic Acid (B5)

-SF7222 (Caster Bean Oil)

  1. Never ever supplement herbal medication for prescription medication. most of the time they are fine in combination. ask your pharmacist for the best answer.

  2. Non of the herbal supplements you're taking would

interact with your acne medicine........but why still  take something

that hasn't worked for you yet??
