I have a trojan virus thingy calle antivirus 2009 and I wanted to use a malware sweeping program. The problem is it takes forever because of all the temporary files. Should I just delete the temp folder so I can finally get rid of this virus, or does my computer need the temp folder?

  1. You should always delete your temp files at least every other day. After each session is best protocol. Yes this is malware. Since I don't know what sweeping program you have I can only tell you that I have found Kaspersky Internet Security Suite to be the most effective I have ever tried. {and I have tried (and still test new releases) thhe reason some are quicker than others often is a result of skipping files that it deems unlikely to get corrupted. Trust me on this and scan everything. The proper way to remove malware is to turn off your system restore. (malware hides a copy of itself there quite often) Then re boot into safe mode. (keep pressing f8 when you power up and select safe mode) Then run your anti virus / anti spyware-trojan utilities. Then re-boot with your internet connection disabled and re-run your scans. then turn your restore back on and set a new restore point.

  2. checkout wiki information of this so called antivirus ...

    http://www.wiki-security.com/wiki/Parasi... ...

  3. OH! I had that before like a week ago, and I posted it on here! You can go to PC tools, and download Spyware Doctor, it is the best out there, gives you free firewall and such. Do a full system scan. If that doesn't work, you can search how to remove it in yahoo answers, or google it. Or you can look at my profile and search my questions to find it. It had alot of answers. Alot of poeple had been infected with that before. It's not that hard to remove it, tons of corporations made software just to remove that fake antivirus.
