I'm an upcoming sophmore at my school. Freshman year I did cross country and track. I had never really run before, but when I did those two sports, I found that I wasn't awful at it. I'm more on the bookish side. I want my college resume to be very well-rounded (I have over 110 hours for volunteering and I'm going to be a counselor for this YMCA camp, so I'll get more hours). I play guitar in a group for the community. I have a 4.24 GPA.
Anyways, the question is: Should I do XC this fall season? I loveeeeee track. It was so much fun because the team was bigger, the races were only a mile, and the meets were so much fun. I absolutely HATE the XC meets. I hate running in hot weather (which is basically what XC is). I mean the only gratifying thing about XC is the feeling after you're done with a hard race or getting to tell people that you do XC. I do long-distance track,so most of the people on the long-distance team is from XC. So wouldn't if I dropped out of XC, I would be probably
