Should I do middle or long distance running?

Im the typical ectomorph, 6'2', 140 pounds, and 5.2% fat and I was wondering if I switch from middle distance to long distance, 5k and more? Or should I stick to the 400 and 800?

My PR's are 55s, 400 meters, 2:20, 800 meters.

  1. stick to the 400 meters that is a pretty good time


  2. It'd be hard to make a guess because you didn't state your age. You could see what your times are in longer distances, and see how they place against other runners, though.

  3. switch to long distance, your middle distance isnt making it, sorry
