Should I do the beauty pageant?

ok so I got something in the mail that says someone recommended me for a beauty pageant and it's invitation only (don't know who.) It's for girls ages 7 to 19. I'm 13, 5'5, 110 pounds, strawberry blonde hair, and blue eyes. do you think I should do it?

Whether you should compete in this pageant or not has more to do with the pageant than what you look like. Which system is it? Some reputable systems do contact potential contestants through the mail, but there definitely scams out there. There are plenty of pageants out there that aren't scams, so if this one seems iffy, do your research and find one that works! I started pageants when I was 13 and it's been the best decision of my life.

be wary, it could be a sexual predator, or it could be a simple spam bot, or it could be the real deal. you should talk to your parents about entering a pageant. also if they ask you to send them questionable pics then definitely steer clear of them.

It sounds like a company is trying to get you to sign up and then try to sell you on modeling classes.  Have your parents look into it first.
