Should I do this NFL Fantasy trade?

Question

I have Colston and Bowe.. a guy sent me a trade.. T.O and Derrick Mason for Colston and Bowe... Should i do that trade???

That is a pretty even trade.  Colston has the potential for a breakout year, but T.O. is pretty solid.  Bowe is a through away, but Mason is less so.  So by my mark T.O. is always good, but Colston may prove to score more.  That will be evened out though by Mason getting more touches than Bowe.

thats a tought one. consistancy with T.O. or holding onto colston because people think this is his breakout year. I would prob do t.o... but i say that with no confidence at all. lol

I think i would do it, simply because you know TO is going to get his, colston should do well and COULD have an outstanding year, but i'd take the consistency of TO's numbers over colstons upside,

in the end i see bowe and mason as being about even, with maybe a slight edge to mason.

If you are in a keeper league I probably wouldn't do it simply because of colston's youth, and TO is getting older

When evaluating Fantasy Football trades you need to look at what are your needs, not who are the best players. In this trade you are exchanging 2 10-25 WR for a top 5 WR and a 25-40 WR (projections)

If you are deep at the WR spot and can sacrifice 2 starters for 1 then this is a good trade. If you are looking at it by position, then trading 2 WRs for 2 WRs is not really beneficial to either player.

Again, by projecting Colston and Bowe will get about 200 yards and 1/3 TDs a week. Owens and Mason are looking at 150 - 175 yards and 1/2 TDs a week.

Again, if you are only in need of one starter TO is better than Colston and Bowe, if you need two guys don't do it.

I would rather have Colston and Bowe personally. It is a fair trade though. I think Colston is going to have a good year this year.
