Should I donate my study guides from law school to the public library or just throw them out?

Keep them.  If you ever come upon a case that you've never done in the future, the guides will come in handy.

My friend was appointed recently to the federal bench and his first few cases were maritime law and immigration law, which he admitted he hadn't dealt with since law school!  He went back to his study guides and text books, which he kept.  Funny story.

Sure why not! Give back! Why throw them away when the public library can use them to help other people? Seriously do the right thing.
