I am following a recipe from www but I wanna cook more for my son's birthday. If I double the amount of pork for example, should I also double the other ingredients. Let's say if the original recipe is 1/4 vinegar, should I make it 1/2?

  1. no i have made meat dishes and olny use one portion of meat in them

  2. Yes, you should double everything, especiallly liquids and seasonings.

  3. Hmmmmm....sometimes you can double all the ingrediants when you double a recipe and sometimes, depending on the ingrediant, they tell you not to double it.  You didn't mention what kind of dish you are making, other than it contains pork. I suspect that if you are doubling the meat, you can probably get away with doubling the vinegar, but you might want to do a taste test as you go along.

  4. That depends. Do you want more meat than the recipe calls for or do you want to double it. You can make a recipe and just add extra meat, but if you wan tall around more double it.

  5. it depends. if you want to make twice as much as what the recipe makes normally, then yes.

if you just want it with extra pork, then no.

  6. it's pretty hard to say if we don't know what you are making.
