  1. No.  Definitely not ahead of Steven Jackson.  He should stay healthy this year and should be an elite RB.

Maybe with Frank Gore - Moss scored more points last year despite Gore mostly staying healthy, and Moss should be more "ahead of the pack" at their respective positions.

It depends on your overall strategy - if you think you will be able to snag decent RBs in rounds 2 and 3, go with Moss.  If not, go with Gore.

  2. It depends on your leagues scoring system. If you get a pt per catch, then i would definitely take Jackson and maybe Gore, he will catch a lot of balls in Martz's system. But if no PPR then i would take Moss or Jackson, it is a toss up considering the Rams OL struggles last year. They will probably be improved, but who knows at this point. Jackson will get the majority of the touches including goalline, so he will definitely get more TD's (if healthy) Moss will probably come back to earth a little bit.

  3. Randy is the most consistent out of all of them, so yes pick him before SJAX and Gore. He can catch the long passes and has speed to out run defenders.

  4. Moss won't have the same year he had lst year, while the 49er's offense rely's on Gore, and Jackson will have a huge year for the Rams.

  5. It depends on the format of your league if it is a standard format then go with Steven Jackson. If you are in a PPR (Points per reception) league then go with Moss. It also depends on where you pick if your pick is not in the top 4 then your probably not going to get Jackson. Gore only has one good season under his belt but Martz says that he's going to base his offense around Gore even so your better option would be Joseph Addai. Also why not Westbrook in a PPR format he gets a good amount of receptions and rushing yards.

    Bottom line:

If you pick in the top 4 in a standard league pick: Jackson

If you pick 5-7 Pick Addai over Gore

If you are in a PPR league pick Westbrook or Moss

  6. HELLZ NAW U NEED RB'Z IN YO LEAGUE STEVEN IZ DA BEST AFTA LT AND AP

  7. Randy Moss is your best pick he is consistent

  8. Steven Jackson should be drafted ahead of Randy Moss in standard scoring formats. Jackson is a special breed this year, he is NOT in a running back by committee situation which makes his value through the roof. Also, in a standard scoring format, I would say that Gore is more valuable as well. He also is not in an RBBC situation, and Martz is talking like he's going to turn him into the next Marshall Faulk. The earliest in my opinion Moss should go in a standard Yahoo format is 6th for those who arent high on Gore, 7th for those who are.

LT, AP, Westbrook, Addai or Jackson at 4th or 5th, Gore, Moss or Barber III at 7 depending on preference.

Expecting Randy Moss and Tom Brady to repeat last years numbers is not reasonable. Defenses have had the entire off season to plan on ways to stop them, and Brady became exposed in the Super Bowl when the pass rush was proven to be the most effective way to rattle him.

In PPR, depending on your assumption of risk, you should take a receiving cabable, non-committee back before a WR. Leaving the ideal first 4 picks like this...

    LT, Westbrook, Jackson, Gore, Moss

Also, chances are someone is going to draft Adrian Peterson in there (probably 3rd), so that takes Moss down to 6th. Jackson was a PPR dynamo at full strength in 2006, his groin injury in 2007 set him back 6 weeks but he still put up great numbers. Even if you dont subscribe to Gore, you should be taking at least Jackson before Moss in PPR.
