  1. Try calling an auto repair shop in Montana. http://www.autorepairshoplocator.com/Mon... They can help you with your questions. Try vistiting a few repair centers and compare what they say.

  2. Damien J, Let me start out by saying I'm not when it comes to auto repair. Last month I had an accident with my Ford F150 and I wasn't sure how to fix them. I tried to search the web for help, but the procedures were too complex for my skills. I ended up going to the dealship for my repairs. The dealership tends to charge more than mom and pop repair shops, but they've seen all sorts of situations (car insurance problems, repair warranty issues, etc) and they seem to always find a way to help me. Maybe you can try calling auto repair shops in Montana to see if they can help you. http://www.autorepairshoplocator.com/Mon...

  3. Ride a horse, they get great gas mileage, just have to feed them now and then, don't get flat tires, great horsepower, never break down by the side of the road, besides as much as you love this vehicle it will love you back.

  4. It doesn't really matter...it's a matter of personal preference.

However with the price of gas, I'd say a car is a much wiser choice.

  5. The answer is dependent on a few things.  Which part of Montana will you be driving in, mountains or flat land? Will you be driving there in the winter with the snow and ice? For safety sake I would recommend a 4wd truck.  That isn't the most economical, but I would feel safer in it based on my winter driving experiences in Montana.
