Question:

Should I drive from Cambridge to Birmingham (UK) in rush hour or get the train (3hrs)?

I have to be in Smethwick, near Birmingham (UK) tomorrow at 10am. It's easier if I drive, and I hoped it might be quicker than a 3hr train journey, plus taxi.

Am I mad for thinking of driving, and does anyone know how long it might take? Will the traffic be dreadful?

Thank you!

  1. Driving from Cambridge to Smethwick shouldn't br too bad at all and will only take around 2 hours with no stops.  Rush hour isn't too bad at the moment in Brum because of the holidays so it's loads easier to get around.
