Should I drop Bedard for Duchscherer?

Bedard is getting so many injurys, and when he's not injured, he is still kind of stinks. Duchscherer is #1 in AL in ERA, and is doing really good. Should I do this move? Thanks.

  1. depends on who else you have in your rotation, but if you don't have anyone that you can afford to drop, then yes drop bedard

  2. Yea, I think that would be a wise decision on your part.

  3. No, just pick up Duchscherer and drop one of ur worse hitters. Bedard is a top rounder, u shouldn't drop him. Just bench him now and if he goes on a streak (like last yr) play him then.

  4. Go get Duchscherer before someone else does.  You listed all the reasons why, so go get him

  5. There is no way Bedard is the worst pitcher on your staff, unless you are in a 4 team league.  Even if he is, I am sure you have some batters and position players that are struggling as well.  Bedard is too talented to be dropped.

Drop a batter if your whole staff is doing well.

However, if you are in one of my leagues, my whole answer changes lol

  6. I feel Duchscherer is just getting into his prime, while Bedard was grossly overpaid. Seattle will not get him very many runs, compared to his ERA, while Oakland will provide the backup for Duchscherer. Now is a great time to make the move, as I think his confidence will grow as the year goes on.

  7. Trade Bedard for a position player.  Say a position that you are struggling at.  Drop your worst player that is lacking in production for Duchscherer.
