  1. Keep Jeter....the race for teh playoffs has started and it's Jeter's time to shine.  He will be more productive this time of year than he has been all season.

  2. yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  3. No, don't that Jeter has way more talent than Peralta does. Jeter is a phenomenal clutch player, he is smooth at short and efficient on the base-paths. His instincts are also first-rate. Has tremendous gap-to-gap power. Peralta's plate discipline is the biggest worry here and he could stand to improve his approach with runners aboard. He's not very quick, both on offense and defense. Even though Peralta has more home runs, Jeter has more hits than Peralta. Jeter has 114 and on pace for 174. I would rather have a guy who is consistently getting on base and could help out in the pressure situations.

  4. That's a scary thought...

  5. noooooooooooo

  6. you should drop Johnny Peralta

  7. Yes, Jhonny is on my team and im in first, not saying he is the sole reason but he definately helps.

Jeter to me is overrated for fantasy baseball, unless your league counts defense for points then you should stay with Jeter.

but then again, Jeter also missed a few weeks and if he still has the same numbers then he is pretty much playing better.

Also Clev is most likely out of it and wont be playing to hard from here on out, unlike the Yanks who still have a chance to make the playoffs.

I changed my mind, i would stay with jeter if i was you.

  8. Let's look at this by category:

    GP- Jeter by 1

    AB- Jeter by 12

    RS- Peralta by 5

    H- Jeter by 8

    D- Peralta by 7

    T- even

    HR- Peralta by11

    RBI= Peralta by 8

    BB- Jeter by 9

    KO- Jeter by 28

    SB- Jeter by 4

    CS- Peralta by 2

    AVG- Jeter by .012

    OBP- Jeter by .033

    SLUG- Peralta by .093

    OPS- Peralta by .060

Though Jeter has an 8-7 edge in categories Peralta wins the important RS/HR/RBI categories while Jeter takes AVG and SB. Because of the amrked difference in the HR category and the fact that Jeter does not give you a huge boost in AVG or SB, I'd go with Peralta.
