our league doesn't give credit for punt/kick return yardages, but we do give credit for punt/kick return touchdowns.

so, what's your verdict?

  1. i think people will start kicking out of bound 2 hester on punts and away for kim on kicks so i would say put in gonzalez

  2. Drop Hester and pick up Gonzalez.  Hester will not be returning punts/kickoffs this year.  He is supposed to be their #1 receiver (trying not to laugh here).

    Definitely go with Gonzalez!

  3. Keep Hester he will get you like 6-8 TD's this year on special teams alone

  4. Not if your team awards special team playes.

  5. Definitely, I actually have him as a starter, because he is a very talented athlete and a great sleeper with Peyton Manning to give him the ball.  Hester has lost his value as of late and will not make much of a splash i  the NFL like he used too.  He is getting older and I believe that the Bears will not be getting a new QB anytime soon...talented one that is.

  6. Keep Hester

  7. Anthony Gonzalez He Will Tear Up The Slot in Indy. Hester will be the main goto guy in Chicago but it is a risk double teamed heavy workload could get hurt this year he never had a full year at wideout and special teams. Joshua Cribbs is more of a threat at KR now than Hester remember every few years theres a new one didnt you think Dante Hall or Az Hakim would be around still? Go With Gonzalez or David Patten. Patten will be fighting for time but had a good preaseason and thats a passing offense as well. Gonzalez is above Patten though.

  8. Yes you should definitely add Anthony Gonzalez.  A lot of people think he's the #1 sleeper WR this season.  He finished the season strong last year and he'll only be better this year.  With all the focus on Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, and Joseph Addai..  Gonzalez will get a ton of great matchups and Peyton Manning will definitely get the ball to him.

Hester is decent, but since your league doesn't count punt return stats that really hurts his value.  And Peyton Manning is definitely a better QB than whoever the Bears will be using throughout the year.

Obviously the first guy didn't pay attention to the fact that special teams don't count in your league.

  9. Hester.

  10. Yes, take Gonzalez!  He will eventually replace Marvin Harrison this year and become Manning's go-to guy when Wayne is double-teamed.
