Ok here's my team.

QBs: Tony Romo and Brett Favre

RBs: Clinton Portis, Laurence Maroney, Shaun Alexander

RB/WR: Amani Toomer

WR: Plexico Burress, Anthony Gonzalez, Marvin Harrison, Santana Moss

TE: Dallas Clark, Jeremy Shockey

D/ST: Patriots and Colts

K: Adam Vinatieri and Stephen Gostkowski

Should I dump Marvin Harrison for Devin Hester? Also any other moves I should see about making?

  1. Naah...you know, it's basically a math issue. Who's going to accumulate more plays, a guy who is part-time in the offence or a guy who is hurt? Then, add in the next part: Who is going to have the better QB throwing to them. It's not Devin.

Let some other manager be the genius on Hester, and be 1st in line to eat your humble pie in the message boards.

Really, it's an easy scenario otherwise...if Hester was on waivers, who would pick him up? So far, no one. That's why he's there. If you dropped Harrison, at 0120a you would see that someone set a waiver claim for him and whoever had the highest priority got him.

98% of teams in Yahoo leagues own Harrison. 56% own Hester. You've got a 50-50 chance to get Hester. You have a 100% chance to lose Harrison for good. There's no debate. It's not a good idea to dump Harrison for Hester.

  2. Dumping should always be a last resort.

Try to trade him 1st.(maybe Calvin Johnson)

Or package him;Example=  Maroney+Harrison for Addai,or Gore,or Barber..Then of course pick up Hester with the vacated roster spot.

    ~G{}{}d Luck!~

EDIT- Package trades can turn your team into a powerhouse.

    I've already made 3 of'em this year,and my starters (real quickly) are--B.Westbrook,F.Gore,T.Brady,Houshmen...

    Calvin Johnson,San Diego,C.Mason,and Issac Bruce-(Last

minute replacement for injured Kevin Curtis.) My projected

fantasy points for week 1 is 107;way higher then any other team in my league. So people accept package trades, and

    I accept their "star players."

  3. You should dump anthony gonzalez and get a wideout without a week 4 bye week. I also suggest that you trade one of your defenses cause they both have a week 4 bye week.

  4. I would drop SG, or Colts, probabably colts as you will have to week 4 anyway.  That would give you a three week look, at both Hester and harrison.

If you are looking for an additional team, I Need one more team today for a 2 starting QB league.

  5. keep him as a spare receiver , he has something to prove so he should be be playing his heart out

  6. If you can move Harrison to a reserve position, I would do that until he can prove to be what he was. Hester is taking a chance, since he is the Bears' third wide receiver at best. But, he is also explosive.

  7. no why not  alexander he hasnt signed and he might not at all

  8. No way.  Colts are stilling going to throw the ball, so i would keep him for a while and see how it plays out.  He's getting older, but still a solid receiver.
