Should I dye my hair silver, I am 18 and just started college?

Some people I talked to hate the idea, others love it. So tell me, should I?

If that's what you want, go for it!  All of the girls in my dorm used to have hair dye parties.  The bathroom looked like an easter egg factory gone bad and our heads weren't much different but it was definitely a ton on fun.  Just make sure you're nice to the cleaning ladies afterwards.

However, silver is a pain.  I don't know what color your hair is, but if its dark you'll have a hard time getting all of the color out to make it light enough to look good.  (I have naturally black hair and tried so hard to get white hair, but never could bring myself to leave the bleach on for long enough.)  Blues are easiest, so maybe start there and work your way up?  Good luck!

silver?! no way. your hair will trun a silver color when you get old. why die it now? thats just stupid.

probably not. people will start thinking you are more like a grandma rather than a normal 18 year old teen.

you know those silver sharpies?  if it turned out that metallic color, i'd say do it.  if not, you will probably look like my grandparents with grey hair.

Silver is a very odd color that you won't see often =/

But if you have a face/hair that'll look fine in that color, then why not?

Why don't you upload a photo of yourself so the people here can actually tell you if it'll look good on you or not?

in my opinion, 18 seems a bit old for such bold colours.

but i know a girl in college who has pink in her hair, but if you want too, go for it.
