Should I extange my phone?

Question

I have a sidekick slide, its ok except it does almost nothing, it has no video, etc. I like blackberrys and I got my sidekick this year so in 1 or two years I can get a new phone I guess. SO sidekick or blackberry? Also, alot of sidekicks are getting discontinued, will a new version come out in 1, 2 years or are they gonna be fased out by tmobile? (thats what I heard)

Yes, there is a possibility of the sidekick being discontinued, but with sales so high, i highly doubt it.

I think you should go for a blackberry. Its cheaper, smaller, easier to use, and does way more than the sidekick. You get a great Mp3 player, good web browsing, a great camera, a great video player, and great texting/email.

The sidekick to me is horribly built, and falls apart way too quickly. I've had my blackberry curve for  quite a while, and even though the paints chipping off from all the times ive dropped it, it works perfectly fine.

Has it been 30 days since you purchased it?  Cause usually they will let you trade it in as long as it's before the 30 days.  It is very possible that they wont make more sidekicks....I bought a phone and they no longer make it which blows cause i loved it and wanted an up-grade of it!  Ive heard good things about the blackberry but there is an extra cost for gps and internet and things like that.

I'm not sure about them being phased out.  I know that a lot of celebrities can be seen with the SideKick.  For example, in the movie "Fool's Gold", the ditzy daughter of Nigel, the rich guy, has it.  I personally like the blackberry devices.  The Bold should be making its way around to all of the carriers soon, so be on the look out for that one.
