Should I feel guilty about switching?

I feel kinda guilty that I want to join the Marines when I signed for the Air Force.I'm still in AF dep but I know I need to be in the Marines.

  1. You are serving your country and  you are sacrificing your time and possibly your life for us. Do not fret over which branch. If you serve your time in the air force and you still want to be a marine you can become a jarhead then. I appreciate you signing up to serve. Thank you.


  2. You aren't in the AF until you take the oath - so go talk to the Marine Recruiter.

  3. Well one way or the other you're joining an armed service, where the point is to kill people.  Where you may be required to kill people, and/or get killed yourself.

    Are you worried about hurting their feelings?

    Have you thought real hard about this?


  4. Since your signature is on a contract (that's what your sign when you "sign up" for the military), I'm not so sure you can get out of your "contract!"
