Question:

Should I feel slighted?

I have been hanging out with my brother's best friend lately. We are both recently single (my BF dumped me and his GF dumped him) and it's nice to have someone to talk to about this.

A few nights ago my brother went out with his best friend and didn't invite me. I actually feel kind of hurt, as I am very close with my brother. I am kind of surprised at how slighted and left out I feel.

Now I am paranoid that my brother resents me being friends with his friends. And now I am wondering if his friends even really consider me part of their circle of friends, or if I am just a tag along. Am I over reacting?

  1. your brother loves you and doesnt want you to get hurt. your brother may see the chemistry that is going on between you and his friend and wants to prevent things from happening.

  2. maybe ur brother just wants

his space with his own friends

    and u wiv your friends.

brothers can be like that sometimes

    especially teenage brothers.

or maybe hes sensing the love

you and his mate have for

    each other

  3. Well maybe your brother just wanted a guys night out, he could be embarrassed about you two.

What if you and his mate fall out, your brother would be in an awkward situation,

I should think he doesn't want to encourage you two to be together,

Tell him how you feel, if you re close to your brother, he wont mind hearing how hurt you are. and who knows!!! you may get invited along next time.
