Should I fight this ticket or not?

I got a fine for a rolling stop for $108 dollars and i'm pretty sure it woudl be worth points how do i find out how many points its worth. and Do you think I should fight it i have no problem paying the fine but don't need the points bc then i'll have to take that special points exam again to keep my license.

I think the point question dependson the state. When I get traffic tickets I aways got to court. You always have the chance the cop will not show and normally the judge lowers the fine and points.

No, I don't think you have any grounds to fight it.  Call the license registry office (or whatever they call it in your area) and see how many points you will get for it.

it's not worth fighting the ticket but it could be worth going to court.  Just go to court and plead guilty and usually they will reduce the fine and knock off a few points.

the points vary depending on the state.  but unless the cop doesn't show up, there's no way you'll get out of it.

It s either two or three points not more.  Call the Motor Vehicle Office and they will tell you.  Challenge it if you feel you really came to a full stop.  Show up in court and probably the police officer won't show up and they will throw it out.  It can't hurt to try.  Its to your advantage to fight it.  Take the time and go.  They will have so many people there fighting tickets that they will let most of them go just to get rid of them.
