  1. Unless you are afraid he'll become violent or kick you out before; it may stop him from trying to keep the baby when you leave.  Depending on your state, you should be able to file any time after birth.

  2. after you get your own place cuz I dnt knw if they will count you as single

I am not sure just tryin to help

  3. now

  4. You can file for child support now.  Unless youre on drugs or something the judge will most likely award you custody of the child and your bf wont be able to take the child unless he can prove that you can not properly take care of the child.

  5. right now you aren't married, it doesn't matter if you live together. I know someone who is paying his girlfriend child support and they share the same home and household expenses

  6. If you both are not married. You have full custody. A lawyer told me that single mothers have custody of the child and the father would have to take you to court to get custody or visitation rights. Once the baby is born you can go file for child support on the baby.

  7. dont do that, thats crazy... he might try 2 convince u 2 stay, or just not let u leave at all. just make sure he stays cool, and then once u get ur own place then file.  but uh... think about it, do u have a place 2 go if u did?  cause if u dont u need him, until u can make it on ur own.

    think about y u want 2 leave him, y do u?

and if u do this, there's a chance, that he might not want 2 even pay 4 child support. so think about these things.  and remember its his baby too, and he might want some custody too, unless he's abusive or something... so yea.

    good luck sweetie.
