I have kinda frizz hair and i usually flat iron it. But i want to try to curl it. I have a 1 1/2 inch brand new curling iron. And if i flat iron it it completely eliminates the frizzy sitch. Sooo... should i just flat iron it first or deal with the frizz?

  1. yeah

  2. It will help tame down the frizz if you flat iron first.  Don't overdo the straightening though because if your hair gets too straight it will not hold the curl, so just go over it real quick with the straightener.

  3. The easiest way to to curl your hair without frizz is by putting some mouse in wet hair.  [Try Tresemme]  Then when that dries..go ahead and curl!!!  You could even use your straightener for a more just-got-back-from-the-beach look.

  4. I would just curl it, because when you add the extra step (ironing), you are more likely to fry it. Heat damage sucks, and you're better off using a silicone-based defrizzing serum than dealing with fried AND frizzy hair.
