  1. wow, not speakin to the answer above me but to  the taytay guy. wats wrong with burton?  They make a great product. no need to say that they "control the noobs." Just because they are popular doesn't mean they're g*y. any way I have the cheapest burton binding you can get, and they have worked fine.  they'll probabaly end up breaking cause theyre plastic but still.  Ride makes really good bindings and I was actually gonna by a pair of RXs this season but decided to wait till next season. also flux makes awesome bindings.

  2. burton all the way. i don't use any other bindings.

  3. I have Ride bindings and they work very well. I've never heard of Rome but I know that Burton and Ride are good. I guess it depends on the model and what kind of boarding you do.

  4. Ride bindings kick butt.  People who say burton all the way only say that because they can't break the brainwash that burton has over all the noob snowboarders.

  5. Stick with Rome.  I love my 390's and my friend swears by his Targa's.  See how the 390's fit your boot - the smaller size should be fine.  Just because it is not listed as a girl binding doesn't mean you can't use it.  The 390 has become a classic.  I got it on recommendation from someone who has been riding theirs for 3 seasons - he and I are both 100+ days per year riders.  They are comfortable and perform really well.

As for all the pro-Burton posts above... I've seen more broken Burton bindings on the hill than anything.  Some say it is because there are more Burtons out there, but if they are so great why do they keep breaking.  Sure they are good at replacing parts, but that didn't do my friend any good when he tore one biding right off the mounting plate halfway up the mountain. He got his replacement parts and sold the bindings.

  6. Lets break it down a wee bit,

Burton is the leader in bindings (sorry but their is not much argument to that) more Burton pros and non Burton pros ride the Burton Cartel (you can argue but its true) Besides the Cartels Burton offers a great variety of bindings to choose from, and match most any budget.

Ride bindings - are based off the old Preston bindings (that really dates me) but more so since they are owned by K2 they have been adapting more of their bindings from k2's

Rome - Rome based their design loosely off the Drake bindings which is surprising since Rome was started by former Burton Techs

What to choose, buy a binding that will suit your riding style, ever company offers bindings that will work for most riding styles.

Since the Blue is an all mountain womens board Rome suggest the Madison or Strut, By Burton standards you could go with the Lexa or Stiletto and finally with Ride you could go with VXN bindings.

I know many ladies who ride Burton bindings more than any other bindings and they all love them, but it really comes down to personal choice.

  7. Rome bindings are okay, but don't stack up to Burtons or Rides.

    Price range?  Riding style?

  8. As said by iva8-eh you will see more broken Burton bindings on the hill than any other brand seriously im not exagerrating either. Although they make good boards and clothing etc they have a real problem with their bindings, i myself owned a pair of Burton Freestyles a few years back and they only lasted about 6 months. I dont know much about Rome bindings ive never ridden or owned a pair but seeing how good a brand Rome is id imagine there bindings would be good, but you should be able to say that for Burton but it isent the case.

Ride are far and above the best bindings ive ever ridden very strong and  good value for money. Out of the three brands you have listed id recommend you go for the Ride Bindings, Good luck with the riding.

  9. ILL have to represent here a spit a little knowledge.

Every company  makes decent bindings. BUT Burton Bindings are really just the best bindings money can buy.

Yes The LOW END crappy bindings by burton Break. BUT the higher end Burton bindings are primo. Burton started this TOE cap idea and now everyone is trying to copy it. If you have ever riddin a burton binding with the Toe cap you know that its the best feeling binding you ever rode.

Im Definetly not NEW to snowboarding. I have ridden Every binding you could think of. Flow ,Ride , flux, rome. k2. salomon , palmer to name a few/ And I willl say that NOTHING compares to the feeeling you get when you bind in with some fresh cartels. Words cannot explain how good they feel... The responsiveness is 2nd to none there toe cap cannot be copied. I feel that Burton Bindings are definetly the best. Ive seen MANY MANY sets of broken bindings. Hey THEY BREAK!.   Now IM not saying that BURTON makes the best snowboards, B/C they sure dont, BUT they definetly make some quality bindings... I say burton hands down..
